The system is mounted using steel brackets that fix directly into the factory floor mounting points, meaning no unnecessary drilling and straightforward installation.

Slideaway has been engineered to work with or without a Kombi bed in place, and can be removed easily when required — keeping your Transit Custom as versatile as it should be.

Construction & Design

The Slideaway system uses a robust aluminium tray supported by steel upstands, with heavy-duty sliding mechanisms positioned between them. This combination ensures strength, stability, and long-term reliability.

Please note:
Due to the construction of the system — aluminium tray, steel upstands, and sliding components — some gentle noise may occasionally be heard while driving, particularly on bumpy or uneven road surfaces. This is a normal characteristic of the system and does not affect performance or durability.
